It is not all bad, thanks to two champs.

Actually, I rated MWEB overall a 2 (5 being the highest) and the techie a 5. Though overall service/communication failed it could be easily avoided (The 2 rating) Wanting to transfer my VoIP from a temporary setup on my tablet to my fibre network after my number was ported had turned into a nightmare.I could not get through to MWEB the whole day. The "press 1, 2 or 3 to be transferred" was looping back to: "select 1,2 or 3." My emails, whilst eliciting read reciepts made no difference. Nobody contacted me. Then two pro's got involved. I posted to the MWEB social(FB) page and was attended to by (I am told) Rezah. He INFORMED me that there would be a delay as the tech team might only be able to help me "tomorrow." So it was. This morning I recieved a call fron Carl Coetzer. He was really calm. He listened, placated and repaired (remotely) Carl and Rezah, you are CHAMPIONS. You rescued a bad situation professionally. I would suggest to MWEB management that whilst I appreciated the numerous departments ticking the read reciepts, all it would have taken was for THEM to say in reply: "Tech has been informed, there will be a delay, probably until tomorrow." That would have made the wait understandable and I would have stopped sending irate mails. The grass is always greener on the other side but this time two great employees made a real difference in their camp :-) Either promote them or give them a raise :-) :-) P.S. The irony is, I was on hellopeter about to post a negative comment as my cellphone rang and it was Carl Coetzer the techie. When we hung up, I was once again a happy camper :-) Am very pleased with the VoIP package.
