Is this how new customers are treated? - ***3

We decided to switch over from Telkom to Mweb. I started the process and informed one of your consultants, Ashlene, that I received a notification that our line had been moved to the holding pool. She assured me that it could take a few days for her to locate the line and it would be moved over by the 5th of June at the latest. To date, I have not heard back from her. Last night I got home and had NO INTERNET! This left me in a very unprofessional and embarrassing position as I had work to complete and deadlines to meet. I called the technical support and after holding on for a rather long time started to try figure out what was wrong. Another consultant who was assisting me [Clive] confirmed that my line had not even been retrieved from the holding pool. This is over a week later!

Additionally, Clive confirmed that the 10Mbps line is R432 and not R400 as indicated on your website [which I checked this morning]. In one of my earlier telephonic conversations, I confirmed with Ashlene that the price included VAT.

Can somebody please get back to me as to what is going on about my line and the pricing which I was informed of last night.

Good Day Samantha,

Thank you for taking the time to make contact with us.

We have tried calling you, however were not able to reach you on your Cell.

Please note that the line has already been moved to MWEB, this is confirmed when we check the Telkom portal.

You should now be able to connect, using your MWEB account details.

I checked the account and noted that there is no connection, due to a "bad password".

Therefore, I resent you the username and password via sms.

The 10Mbps line, will be billed at R400.00; this is inclusive of the discount you receive.

It will show as R432.00 on your invoice and reflect the R32.00 discount afforded to you.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further feedback or assistance.

Kind regards
MWEB Client Services

Dear Bronwen

As per our telephonic conversation yesterday. Please urgenlty send me your email address and direct number [to my gmail address which you should have on record] and then call me on my cell. Was on phone for almost 45 min last night to get my internet sorted - which is on and off. Last night after thinking that I had resoved the wireless internet issues [which I did by myself] I had an emergency to resolve and had to do it via my cell phone! After sitting again this morning with the wizard I think I have resolved the connectivity issues on my laptop.
