Is MWEB a State Owned Entity, because their service seems like it
Every effort to get my existing month-to-month contract transferred to my new address from 1 March 2021 have not been very successful as I have not received proper responses both telephonically or via email. February has arrived which marks the 1 month calendar notice should I be left with no option than to cancel my MWEB service. On numerous occasions I have noted that I need resolution to my enquiries to allow me to make decisions. Within a week from today only three weeks will be left until I move to my new address, and according to MWEB that is the time required to do the activations. At the current turn around on responses from MWEB it is highly unlikely that this will be resolved in time. Because of COVID-19 an uninterrupted internet service connection is required to allow us to work from home, and right now MWEB threatens our ability to do so by their negligent and poor service response. Can someone please direct me to someone that can get this sorted out asap? And please do not refer me to their website to lodge a complaint or enquiry, I have tried that and no response. Also please do not refer me to their contact center, I have spent hours on the phone just to be referred and asked to send an email to MOVING@mweb. Can someone assist with the contact of the correct ombuds so that I can formally complain?
