Is it 1925 0R 2025 in MWEB land?

I was told by an MWEB salesperson it would take 2 working days to process my request to move, only to find that I will be without internet for 3 weeks. Firstly, why in 2025 does it take 3 weeks to switch the line when all of the infrastructure is in place, and secondly, why did the MWEB salesperson lie?
