I last had connectivity to wi-fi on 30 March
I last had connectivity to wi-fi on 30 March. Logged a call on 31 March and I was given an ETR of 72 hrs to 6 working days. I followed up every day of last week on status as I had not been receiving updates. Everytime I was told the matter was escalated and receiving urgent attention. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated going into 3rd week with zero updates and to think I’m now paying for something that I am not receiving service of. None of my neighbours are experiencing wi-fi issues.

Thank you for sharing this in detail. We understand how frustrating it is to be without connectivity for this length of time, especially with no consistent updates and while your neighbours remain unaffected. That level of disruption and uncer*****y is not the experience we aim to deliver. We have reached out directly to our faults team using your reference MWB***7. The matter has been escalated with our Vodacom fibre partners for urgent intervention, and you will receive an SMS update as soon as there is confirmed progress on the fault. To ensure nothing is missed, our teams are continuing to track this closely and push for a resolution as a priority.
Kind regards,
The Mweb Team

14 Apr 2026, 08:29Hi Boitumelo, we can see how this has reached a breaking point, being without connectivity since 30 March, repeatedly following up, and still not receiving clear updates well beyond the original timeframe is understandably frustrating. The added concern of being billed while without service only makes this more difficult. Your fault is currently with our technical team, who are actively working to resolve the issue. Since your neighbours are not affected, this does point to a location-specific fault, which can take more time to isolate, but that does not take away from the need for clear and consistent feedback to you. We’re taking ownership of this and will ensure your case is reviewed with urgency. A detailed update on the progress, along with a clearer expectation on resolution, will be prioritised so you’re no longer left without visibility. Your billing concern will also be assessed once the service is restored to ensure this period is fairly accounted for. We remain focused on getting your connection back up and running as quickly as possible and improving the communication around your case. Kind regards,
