How long does a simple ADSL line conversion take?

So I relocated and did a line transfer through Telkom. Phoned Mweb as soos as the technician was done because they had to convert the line to ADSL as it was just a normal telephone line, or so I've been told. <br> <br> Spoke to the lady at Mweb and she said it would take 7 to 10 days. Phoned again earlier this week to find out the progress and were told that the order never went through. How long can this possibly take? The line is already in. Ive had an Mweb account for over 3 years now. I need this line urgently and have to sit at work late at night just to have access. And this right after I filled in a very positive survey. Should have held on to it I guess. Just fix this today my patience ran out.
