How Do You Call This Service???

I cannot believe that Mweb and Zoom Fibre are standing in town advertising how wonderful their service is. I started out with Fibrestream, like most homes in Heidelberg, then Fibrestream went belly up and Mweb took over. Three years of constant outages, wifi going down and IF, by some miracle you do get to speak to someone they give the excuse that all prior Fibrestream installations are a problem. I advised that I have no interest in staying with Mweb as the issues are numerous and they just don't have any sense of urgency. I was called by an agent in Sales, who mentioned I can switch over to Open Serve (an offer they are making to old FS customers). Much more stable and even at a slightly lower cost, "to make up for the inconvenience caused". This was in November 2024!!! First week of December they sent a new router. They tell you you just plug in the new router and you are all set. I contacted Mweb again, an agent named Dean called me and asked me why I could not connect the new router. Turns out, Open Serve were supposed to come and install the modem for everything to work. Dean showed exasperation, told me he would het to the bottom of it. This was begin January 2025. A week later he made another call, asking me if I am now happy and the issues have been sorted. Again, no one contacted me, the old Fibrestream system is still in and AGAIN WE HAVE NOT HAD WIFI GOING ON FOR 3 DAYS NOW!!! I would never, ever, advise anyone to do business with these people. November 2024 to 27 February 2025 and still no hope in sight.
