How difficult is it to provide consistent internet connection??

I genuinely do not understand how it can be so difficult to provide a paying customer with a consistent internet connection. We pay for 40mbs uncapped, we probably receive (on average) 5 - 10mbs, forever rebooting the router and spending excessive amounts of airtime calling the Mweb Customer Care Line - to get patronising responses from their call centre agents. It is EXTREMELY frustrating having to pause videos, allowing them to buffer and having movies/series pause every 20sec to buffer for 5 to 10 sec (not an exaggeration)!
