Horrible Service
Worst ISP I've ever worked with. Stay away from them!
My internet has been off for two weeks, I've spent easily 12 hours on their support line and the best they can do is log a ticket that gets closed an hour later. My ONT box is faulty yet they send me a new normal router??? They don't listen, they are disrespectful and horrible at their jobs. Stay away.
I've paid for my service, spent hundreds on airtime and still no results.

15 Mar 2026, 11:23Also, goodluck trying to get help from MWeb's support in the afternoons, they are quick to tell you that it is time to knock off and then they drop your call. I wonder if the CEO is aware of what his staff and supplier are doing to his customers. He probably is, because no owner of a company can be so blind as to what is going on in his own business. Well done MWeb and OpenServe! So lovely to have our money taken and having nothing to show for it.
My internet has been off for 3 weeks, every time I open a fault, openserve closes it saying there is nothing wrong on my line. That is not what I reported. My ONT (fibre box) is faulty. It receives the internet but does not push it through to my router.
Mweb has replaced my Mweb router and openserve still have the nerve to say it's not their fault. I need my ONT box to be swapped. Not them just switched the ports every other day saying the problem is fixed.
I am losing my mind as I work remotely from home and I had to stay with friends just to be able to work.
Does anyone please have any advice or a number I can contact.
On Thursday, Mweb said they made a final ticket telling openserve to come replace to ONT as they've swapped it to Lan port 1,2 and 3 and no internet has been restored. My ONT box has my PON and power lights on green, the Lan light from the port to the WAN stays off.
Now yesterday I got an SMS saying "Good day *****
Openserve responded saying they have opened port 3 on your Fibre box, please connect the cable to port 3
Kind Regards MWEB"
ITS BEEN ON EVERY PORT.. The box is faulty. Please Openserve just replace the damn box

16 Mar 2026, 09:52Hello Corné.
We completely understand how frustrating this experience must be, especially as you rely on a stable connection to work remotely. We’ve reviewed your case and want to provide some clarity regarding Openserve’s actions.
When Openserve switches the LAN ports on your ONT (fibre box), it is part of their standard troubleshooting process to isolate connectivity issues. This helps determine whether the problem is with the line, the router, or the ONT itself. Since your PON and power lights are green, but the LAN light remains off, it indicates that the ONT may not be passing the signal through correctly, which somewhat aligns with your observation that the box is faulty. To resolve this, Mweb has escalated the case and issued clear feedback regarding your ONT.
We appreciate your patience and want to reassure you that we are prioritising this matter. We aim to ensure a fully functioning connection as quickly as possible so you can work from home without further disruption.
Kind regards,
The Mweb Team
