Hidden contract terms and unfair cancellation fees I signed up for a 30-day trial with Mweb, but it was never disclosed to me that this would automatically lock me into a 12-month contract. After I cancelled the VPN service, Mweb hit me with a massive R4,000 cancellation fee. Because I refuse to pay this undisclosed fee, they have now disconnected my separate month-to-month internet contract. This is completely unacceptable and hidden-cost marketing at its worst.
