Handing over to credit bureaus for account in arrears when cancellation had already been done months ago!
So I cancelled a service that I was not using at all for over a year, I received confirmation of my cancellation request from MWEB, and MWeb went and reinstated the service again for another year anyway despite my confirmation of cancellation. I have called numerous times, each time I get confirmation that the cancellation was indeed done. I finally thought everything has been sorted out now, but have now today received an sms stating my account is in arrears and unless payment is received my account will be handed over to the credit bureaus for black listing! How disgusting and dishonest is this service from MWEB?

We hear how concerning and frustrating this is, especially after receiving confirmation of cancellation, only for the service to be reinstated and invoices generated again. Being notified of arrears and potential credit bureau action in this context is understandably alarming.
