Giving Up

Hi.<br> <br> I have been a MWEB customer for more than 5 years. Never really had any problems. Until roughly 2 weeks ago.<br> My line is completely dead - now wether it's a adsl or telephone line - I don't really care. The point is, I'm paying MWEB for a service because Telkom is useless! <br> So, 2 weeks ago I tried to log a call through MWEB, after 3 days I gave up. So I phoned Telkom and to my surprise a call was already logged. Ref no:247BRK280714. Now just by looking at that ref it seems like it was logged last year in July? According to Telkom, MWEB logged it... <br> So I sent a mail to complaints@MWEB and Darwin Oliver phoned me. He had the worst attitude I've ever experienced. He said that it's not Mweb's problem that the line is down, he can log a call through Telkom but I'm going to pay if they come out.<br> When I eventually said I'd rather want to cancel my service, he didn't hesitate to send me a mail.<br> I am moving in the near future and know that my line won't be fixed before then. So is there any way of cancelling my service - adsl line and data but keeping my e-mail address and paying only for that service? I will rather move my account to a smaller more reliant service provider.
