First time with Mweb, appalling service
I app**** for a new ISP on 19 November 2024. Explaining to the consultant that I'm home based and moving to the new property on 29 November 2024 and need active internet.
The consultant looked up the address and noted there is an active line on the property. I explained and renting the main house and there was internet, this was canceled on 30 August 2024. I sent the proof of this to the consultant.
I'm a new customer of Mweb and have ever since received the most horrible service for all the consultants I have spoken to. I started following up my application on 26/27 November 2024. When phoning and need to explain the same story to every person I speak to, which is not only aggravating, but make a person livid, because no one reads the notes on the system, or there are no note on the system. Which in turn makes Mweb seem ***********, because no person knows what is going on with my application. Regardless that Mweb is the ISP and I app**** for Vuma internet through Mweb, no person can give me answers except that there is an active line and that this will be escalated which takes 48 - 72 hours.
Now this part made me even more furious as every single time I phone Mweb and explain the same story the tickets were escalated. This and now been more than 72 hours and I still have not received feedback and I'm currently sitting without fibre internet to my home and have now moved in to the new property.
In the past 4 days I have called Mweb 8 times, because when I call amd get placed on hold or while busy speaking to a consultant the call gets cut and I the in turn need to redail the number because Mweb consultant do not phone you back when there is a connection problem on their end and calls get cut. I spent over 100 minutes on phone with Mweb incompetence and this had been the final nail in the coffin.
I request a specialist or management to contact me on *** and sort this issue out within the next 48 hours.
How hard is it to 1-release a line, 2-transfer that line to a new person/occupier, 3-activate the line for the new occupier and deliver the hardware (router).
