FIRST NO INTERNET & NOW MY LANDLINE

On Sunday 4th June 2017 I woke up to find my internet was down, I called Mweb technical support to escalate my query and they proceeded to tell me there is a problem in my area but it was fixed and could not understand why my services was still down. A service call was logged and I was told they would revert back to me shortly, please refer to reference MW ********** . The next day Monday 5th June 2017 I called again and spoke to a very arrogant technical support agent Abdul who on my request escalated my call to his floor manager Nooir (excuse the spelling if incorrect) he said he would arrange with the relevant department to contact Telkom and send a technician to my premises. I explained to Nooir that he would have to discussed with me prior to sending out anyone to my premises – this was not done as later that day when I returned home a family who by chance was at my place and has access told me that Telkom was there and the technician reported everything is fine with my equipment and line, the problem possibly is at the exchange. Late on Monday I tried to call Mweb only to realise that now my landline is also dead.

SHOCKING to say the least, how do we go from logging a call regarding my ADSL not working to now my line complete not working even though a Telkom technician was there. Ridiculous right? Now the only option I have is to call Mweb from my office as I depleted my cellphone minutes trying to sort this out and all I am being told is that someone would come back to me. WHO IS THIS SOMONE AND WHEN WILL THEY CALL ME? WHEN IS SOMONE GOING TO CALL AND ACTUALLY SORT OUT THIS MESS? I am now worse off!!!

PLEASE MWEB HELP ME!!! I am an existing client and this is the poor service you guys are giving me! I have been with your company for +6 months only and this is my first major fault and this is how you guys deal with it, unprofessional and *********** springs to mind because you should know how to resolve issues like these, not make them worse. I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT TELKOM as I pay Mweb for the internet service, so stop using that line. FIX MY INTERNET AND LANDLINE ASAP!!!!!!!

Brad

Good day Bradley

We have tried unsuccessfully to contact you.

Our calls remain unanswered, please call us and provide an alternate contact number in order for us to assist you or a convenient time for us to contact you.
We have in the meantime escalated your query to the relevant department to address it with a matter of urgency. Please note that Telkom has a 7 - 10 working day turn around time on line related faults.

Kind regards
MWEB Client Services

Good Day Bradley,

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns.

The line went down, due to a power failure at the Telkom exchange.

The fault was escalated to Telkom and since been addressed. The account is showing an active router connection and data transfer.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance.

Kind Regards
MWEB Client Services
