False Marketing Ploy

On the 22nd October 2015 I was contacted by a sales consultant named Mohammed Dawood from Ping'd. He was selling me uncapped ADSL for R239.00/month. After over half an hour of questions and answers I was told that an email would be sent to me and I would have this package for R239.00/month.<br> I received an email later that day, but added on to this were 3 other packages i.e Safety box, rescue box, and Society. This added up to an extra R147.00/month. i was never advised about this!<br> I phoned Ping'd the next day and cancelled the extras. I received confirmation of the cancellation. <br> On the 04 November I received an sms to advise me that my whole order had been cancelled. I phoned customer care to enquire why this had been cancelled and was told because I was an existing customer of MWEB!<br> The consultant asked me for my email address while we signed up the deal on the 22nd and my email ends with [URL Removed]<br> I feel that this is a con. If you don't take all the extras, they are not interested in doing a deal with you.<br> This should have been explained at the time and I wouldn't have wasted my time!
