False advertising for fibre special R509 - don't sign up

Installed a new fibre connection in Mid january 2023. Offer was R509 for six months and then normal rate of R689 for the remaining 18 months. It is now two weeks and I have just received an email notification that due to "supplier increasing charges" the rate from 1 February 2023 is not R509, but your guessed it R689.

The only reason I signed on with Mweb was because of the cheaper rate for the six months.

This is obviously false advertising and I will be reporting this company to the advertising ombudsman.

My advice stay away from Mweb!!

Was previously with Telkom openserve or over five years without any issues. Regret changing companies.
