Extremely unhappy with the bad service
I have cancelled my services with them and have had an inactive line for more than 2 weeks now. I have been on the line as well the live chat every day and still they have not released the fibre line in order for the new service provider to connect. They promised me yesterday 17 March 2026 it will be done today (18 March 2026) and guess what, still not done. I have been on the phone and currently still holding on for 1hour 24 minutes as well as in a live chat since 10:05am and still they cannot give me an answer..... This is pathetic.

We completely understand how frustrating and inconvenient it is to be waiting for your fibre line to be released, especially after following up repeatedly over the past two weeks. Experiencing such delays when transitioning to a new service provider can be extremely stressful, and we recognise the impact this has had on your plans.
We have reached out to the team responsible for line releases and requested that they urgently follow up on your account and provide you with feedback. This ensures that your line is released as quickly as possible so your new service provider can connect without further delays.
We appreciate your patience while this matter is being addressed and your feedback will also help us improve our processes to prevent similar delays in the future.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team

18 Mar 2026, 13:02Hello Wilmarie.
It’s completely understandable to feel upset after spending so much time trying to resolve this, only to be told about an outstanding balance now. Being caught in this situation can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to move to a new provider and want things to happen smoothly.
Once the outstanding amount on your account is settled and the line is released, your new ISP will still be able to take over the connection. While waiting for the line release, it may help to speak directly with your new ISP to explain the situation and confirm how this may affect your order.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us by sending a direct message.
Kind regards,
