Excessive MWEB Accounts.

If you subscribe through MWEB and are using their MTN option for your data streaming, the following surprises might await you. You can quickly accumulate an account double or even triple the amount that you have signed on for due to content services that manifest them self on to your account while you browse. While querying this matter today with them I was told that they are unable to do anything to stop this content services from their side and it is up to you, the customer to prevent this from happening. Also note if you cancel the service from them, after your contract has expired with them, (I cancelled mine after 15 years) They still expect a months notice from you. I requested cancellation on 25 March 2018. I was notified telephonically that the contract will only be terminated end of April, and the last deduction was 31 May 2018. I paid a total amount to MWEB for the last 3 Months R2132 an amount that should not have exceeded R942 if they were able to protect their customers from content services.
