EARLY CANCELLATION FOR NO SERVICE

I app**** for a service with Mweb on 15 September and was told the installation will be done within 3 - 5 days. After I didn't hear anything after 7 days, I found out from the previous tenant that she has an existing ISP that I can take over. I contacted that ISP and the transfer was done the same day. I have been with this ISP since end of September.

On the 4th November I get a sms from mweb saying they are activating my line and will get my router shortly. NEARLY 2 MONTHS LATER. I tried phoning, emailing, loggin into the account and cancelling. I spoke to someone that promised me it will be cancelled. On the 7th November, I received an sms stating that I will pay R1,007 for an early cancellation!

A cancellation fee for a service I never received??? I returned their debitorder that was also processed on the 7th November and was charged a fee for that also.

WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY. I have spoken to many on their service line, not only are you transferred from one department to another - they ALL promise it will be reversed, but nothing as yet. We are another 7 days later.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
