Hi there

Can anyone assist me, i requested to downgrade my services from 4Mpbs to 2 Mpbs. I called the call centre and was told this could only happen after my contract has ended. I then received an email from an agent who also advised that i will not be able to downgrade. Another agent also responded to my email and advised that my services will be downgraded, however "please be advised that the 10 months of the previous 12 month contract has been added to your service as you were provided with a free router". So now i would like to know what the following clause in my contract means :Subject to the ADSL product remaning active for 12 months, should you cancel your ADSL service within 12 months of receiving the free router, you will be charged the outstanding cost of the device on a pro-rata basis: Within 0-3 months: 100% of the cost of the device. So my question is why am i not being billed for the free router rather than adding the previous contract costs to the new contract?
