Costly Agreement with Mweb Fibre

In August, I requested Fibre services from Mweb as it looked impressive in their page advert. I was promised that my Telkom number would be taken over and voip Telkom number. I was advised to download the app which is so dismal because of poor quality and keep cracking when speaking and it works intermittently. After the Telkom line was taken over, not a single day it has worked and we are left with no landline communication to this day. It was making sense to have our communication services to one provider and little did I know that our communication services would no longer be working the moment the line was taken over. The landline has never worked..nobody can call us or we cannot call out. What is shocking is that Mweb is not interested in providing customers with services entered into an agreement But rather more keen to deduct monthly payments for services not rendered. Despite my numerous complaints using my mobile phone, the services were never improved. Meanwhile, the company is more keen on money for dysfunctional services.. On raising this up with them several times, I was told that deductions are made from the time an agreement is signed. It is obvious that it is not about the services provided but about money.

I decided to terminate the agreement by the end of October because literally there are no services or customer care provided as agreed by both parties. The agreed installment went up by R300.00 (Three Hundred Rands) more that what it is on the contract. Any service provider who is keen to provide services would make an attempt to contact the customer for improving the services to retain the customer. In this case, Mweb could not care to lose a customer but they simply sent me a premature contract cancellation for R3394 (Three Thousand Three Hundred and Ninety Four Rands) for premature contract cancellation without acknowledging that they failed to provide services as per the contract. In two months , I have paid more than R5000 (Five Thousand Rands) for nothing. Not even an apology is offered because the company has nothing to lose. I would advice everyone contemplating to sign for Mweb fibre services to take a conscious decision because it is a money making scheme not about services. The company has no conscious for as long as they can make their money...a **** indeed.
