Constant moving date of fixing fault and change in signup agreements
Please note, this is the second complaint of the same fault, that is still not resolved.
On 25 November 2017, I signed up for the Mweb's LTE deal, which included double data, and one month's free data.
I received the LTE router and package 6 December 2017, and reported a fault 7 December 2017, as the router was not connecting to the network. Subsequently, it was discovered the Sim card provided was captured incorrectly. I was told, within 3 to 5 working days, I will receive my new sim card, as this is the only way to resolve the problem.
With being in daily contact with technical, hardware and sales departments, I am still awaiting this to be sorted out, with each day getting new excuses to why the problem is still not sorted.
From not receiving RICA documentation (which was corrected the same day, although Mweb's terms and conditions for the LTE said, RICA documentation to be done on delivery, which was done), to notifying me on 13 December, I need to give this until that Friday or following Monday, for the order to be captured, and now notifying me on 14 December 2017, the "new" order cannot be captured, and might only be able to help me next week, if they can load the order. (Note that not once was acceptance given for cancellation of the previous order, I was told this is the only way this fault can be rectified.)
Can mweb please provide a fixed and firm date, to when this will be rectified, as getting the answer, "we can't tell you right now" is unacceptable for a professional company. I'm sure mweb wouldn't accept this answer from their suppliers, so why is this acceptable to give to clients?
On enquiring why a new order needs to be loaded, it was told this is the only way to do the sim swap. Also during this, the one month free data has also now disappeared (I have to remind each sales person each time what I've signed up for), because mweb does not have that deal anymore for anyone signing up after 30 November 2017.
I might be incorrect in this statement, but doesn't this make mweb then in violation or breach of the original signup agreement?
Please can Mweb give urgent attention to this, as some of the problems highlighted are concerning.
Good day JohanP84
