Best advice: Never use Mweb! Don't fall for a trap

By far the worst non-government service provider I know. First of all, when you call them you're number 30 in line and it will take you 30-40 minutes to get your call answered.

Ever since they installed fibre at my apartment through VumaTel, it never worked, I never had internet. I logged the query several times and they have been failing to get me connected. They sent vumatel 3 times to my apartment but they all failed no matter how much they escalated. They promised to refund me for all the time I was disconnected but I never received any refund or any credit note while they failed several times to get me connected. But when I want to cancel the service I never received, I'm being charged cancelation penalty. When I ask for the first time, they don't know, they will find out... and then I never get feedback. 3 months after I requested cancellation, I receive statement with arrears and cancellation penalty. Then I log a billing query, then they call and tell me I'm being charged a penalty because the query was still open! They're saying I was supposed to wait for the query to be closed before requesting for cancelation, Wow! But when I canceled I specifically asked them to close the query and closed the account because they couldn't resolve the same query for 3 months. Now the account is suspended and I am in arrears. Now I have to pay these arrears and the cancelation fee. Imagine! They're just a ****
