I joined an ISP called YEBO in 1997, they were taken over by Wordonline, then Tiscali and who knows who else until they became MWEB. I subscribed to an additional service in November 2022 (Uncapped 40/20Mbps Fibre Line) the subscription amount was R 459.00pm. In December ( the following month) it increased to R499.00pm. Then after 3 months in March 2023 R 559.00pm a 12% increase 8 months later 1 Jan 2024 R609.00pm a 9% increase 3 months further 1 April 2024 R669.00pm another 10% increase THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Furthermore you cannot get hold of them, logging an online query, no response, calling them the line drops after 3 -45 minutes or you eventually get hold of someone he promise to investigate and get back, but this also doesn't happen. No immediate cancellation is possible only a 30 day notice period and if you do not return their router they will debit, without authorisation, your account with R699.00. PLEASE AVOID THIS ISP.
