Bad service, sim card not activated

App**** for MTN LTE, uncapped internet on 24 December. That was after I ordered Fibre on November 23, and at that stage had no fibre internet yet. Delivery of the hardware and sim card happened on December 30, 2022, account number ***6. I was assured that activation of the new sim card would happen within 24 hours, as it was an automated system.

After 48 hours I phoned the technical division and asked if they could see anything. The consultant again assured me that activations would be finalized on Monday, 2 January. Early on 2 January I phoned Mweb and again asked when activation would be finalized, as I needed my internet for work and was not able to work.

Again, the consultant assured me that she escalated the matter to insure fast activation. On Tuesday, 3 January, I phoned Mweb again just after 8:00, holding for 15 minutes and more, and eventually spoke to Ndeakolo. He again insured me that he also escalated the matter, sent an email and that he would call me back to give me an answer. At 11:18 I phoned AGAIN and again was assured that activation would take place the same day, before the closing of the office. The consultant also assured me that she sent an email to the responsible person, responsible for manual activation, to have my sim card activated.

Just after the last call, Ndeakolo phone me back, asking me to be patient, as I was thinking of cancelling the whole contract and looking for another service provider.

It is now 18:55 on January 3. After about an hour and a half on the phone, my sim card is still not activated and I still have no LTE internet. I have to use my expensive cell phone internet to do whatever I can manage.
