******* and ******** practices

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and to formally report what I believe to be *****ulent and ******* practices by Mweb. This is not a matter of mere inconvenience; it is a blatant disregard for consumer rights and potentially ******** activity. False Advertising and Overcharging: - You advertise a Fibre package at R499 per month. However, you have already charged me R511, even before any services have been rendered. This constitutes clear and actionable false advertising. *****ulent Billing & EFT Instructions: I paid R499 + R249 (total of R748) as the advertised monthly fee and order-processing fee via EFT, as explicitly instructed by your staff. You then proceeded to debit my account an additional R249, creating a double charge for the order-processing fee. Critically, you have marked my order as "Installation completed" and "Fibre is active" despite: - No installation having taken place. - No router being delivered. - No infrastructure being installed for any router to connect to. - You claim a courier delivery date has been booked, whilst saying the fibre is active, this is a clear contradiction and a blatant lie. Theft of funds: - You have received a total of R997 (R499 + R249 EFT + R249 debit order) without providing any service whatsoever. - Your own documentation clearly states billing should commence after installation, router delivery, and Fibre activation. - You have violated your own terms.

I demand the following immediately: - Immediate Refund: Return the R748 that you have *****ulently obtained. - A full explanation: I require a full explanation as to why the account was marked as installed and active, when no work has been done, and why there was a double charge for the order-processing fee. - Immediate rectification: Correct the billing to the advertised R499 per month. - Confirmation of correct process: I require confirmation that the correct process will be followed, installation, router delivery, then activation, and only then billing. - Formal Apology: A formal written apology for this blatant breach of consumer trust, and the incorrect instructions given by staff.

Let me be unequivocally clear, your actions are not only ********* but potentially *******. I am prepared to escalate this matter to the relevant regulatory bodies, including the National Consumer Commission, and pursue legal action if a satisfactory resolution is not reached immediately. This is not a request; it is a demand for accountability. I expect a prompt and decisive response.
