Advertised 10Mb, paying 4Mb, Get 2Mb. Never works

Last year around August, I decided to get an uncapped ADSL line through mweb.

While still going through the quotation phase, I was advised that my home number could support up to a 10Mb/s line. I was perfectly happy with a slower 4Mb line and proceeded with the purchase.

As with any other ISP in SA, I did experience problems here and there however, since the beginning of January 2015 I suddenly get downgraded to a 2Mb line.

I called mweb and logged they call with Telkom. I have had no success since. Mweb and Telkom's excuse is that my home is \Too far from the exchange to run at 4Mb"WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THAT 10MB CAPABILITY?? WHY WAS I ABLE TO RUN AT 4MB FOR THE PREVIOUS 4 MONTHS???

So now I have been paying R449 monthly for a service that only costs R339 to have. Mweb has basically ****** R220 worth of service fees from me and who knows when they will fix the issue.

I do my studying online and this has been a hinder to me
"""
