Accounts lady

I called the accounts department on 13:30 Pm yesterday and received OTP 3259.

Edwards Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd are an international Company and as we said to accounts several times it’s really not balanced and fair to measure our operations on the basis of what is the lockdown dates in South Africa since we been on Lockdown since December 2019, we are an international company and conduct Business with China, Europe, US, Middle East, NZ, Australia and other Countries then engage with South African Government Offices which are closed. We been with you for many years.

The old clients we have on the books and future clients have to be serviced with mails back and forth because our interaction via mail and not via face to face which will dam the creditability.

I found it really disgusting that your accounts consultant has agreed it would be better for us to close our doors and file for liquidation. I have to reiterate she is receiving a salary from Mweb which mean she encouraged a bad book rather than salvage or remedy as we will go back to business in level 3 and probably have income to service all our debts by the middle of June 2020 which she doomed now since we have to close our doors.

But because we will have to close our doors now as she suggested she said: “that’s how it works at Mweb”

If we cannot send or receive mail we cannot conduct or secure business which provide a 100% guarantee that we will receive no income to service our account held with Mweb. This account will go into default as we proceed with her suggestion to close our doors, you been our sole supplier and suggest that.

Since Mweb initiated and suggested that we close our business can you advise will you file for the Liquidation and when what is the way forward?

I need to notify my staff with the notice who have not been paid since January 2020 and still haven’t received the Covid UIF claims yet, but I will need some form of legal documentation from Mweb that you will Liquidate Edwards Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd and suggested that we closed our business yesterday.

They will need these documents to claim 6 months UIF to sustain themselves.

Have no plan B to receive communication from clients other than via the Mweb channels, we was supposed to reopen our doors when we go into level 3 but since the instruction we received yesterday can you please move forward with the legal proceedings so our team can begin to claim UIF.

Can you also inform me who the Liquidating Attorney will be?

Also arrange a bounce back mail so that people know we closed our doors after the instruction from accounts lady.

Please note I only have this Gmail account available and never expected this drastic measure from Mweb yesterday for 1800 ZAR.
