Absolutely pathetic should get -10 stars!

Today received mail stating my mailbox was 77% full and then all my mails disappeared in front of my eyes. Tried calling the "helpline' After an hour of waiting I eventually got to an agent who told me that it was probably a fishing mail and that I must hold on while he spoke to some or other person. After waiting another 10 minutes I was cut off. Tried to use the 'chat' only to get as far as beong supposedly connected to an agent 3 hours later still nothing.

 Hello  Michelle.

We understand how alarming this must have been, especially seeing your emails disappear and then struggling to get assistance. This is not the experience we want for you. There are a few possible causes for what you experienced, and you can try the following immediately:
 • Log in to Webmail and check your Trash, Spam, and Archive folders; emails may have been moved rather than deleted
• Check your mailbox storage. If it reached capacity, emails may stop displaying or be automatically cleared, depending on settings
• Review any email filters or rules, as these can redirect or remove emails without notice
• Change your email password immediately to secure your account in case of unauthorised access
• If you use an email app, refresh or re-sync the account to ensure emails are displaying correctly To assist further, please send us a private message with your email address so we can run a full mailbox check and restore any missing emails where possible. We will make sure this is properly investigated and resolved for you.

Kind regards,
The Mweb Team

So today I receive a 'NO REPLY email basically blaming me for clickin on a link in a spam email!! However the notification is a notification in the blak bar under the notification bell where it shows the # 1 If I could actually get to speak or mail a human I could send a screenshot of the notification however Mweb makes this impossible. The notification originates from Mweb itself! Way to go Mweb how to prevent people from actually getting service

Hello  Michelle. Thank you for explaining this in detail. We understand how frustrating it is when a notification feels misleading and you’re unable to easily reach a human to clarify it. Let’s unpack what may be happening and how you can resolve it step by step. What this likely means Mweb security notifications (including those shown in-app under the bell icon) are often triggered by one of two things:
  •  A detected or suspected phishing/spam email interaction
  •  A security warning generated automatically by the mailbox filter system
Even if the notification appears inside your Mweb portal, it can still be triggered by email content analysis rather than the app itself, “causing” the issue. Why it may have flagged you If you clicked a link in an email, even unintentionally, the system may:
  •  Mark the message as potentially unsafe
  •  Trigger a security event linked to your mailbox
  •  Temporarily restrict or monitor certain email behaviour
What you can do now (important steps) 1. Do NOT click further links in the suspicious email
Even if it looks legitimate, avoid interacting with it again. 2. Check email security logs (if available in webmail)
Look for:
  •  “Security alert”
  •  “Blocked message”
  •  “Suspicious login or action”
3. Change your email password immediately
This helps reset any potential session risk and ensures account integrity. 4. Clear active sessions
Log out of all devices (if the option is available) and sign back in only on your primary device. 5. Check filters and rules
Sometimes, inbox rules are created (manually or via compromise) that redirect or hide messages. 6. Try webmail instead of the app
This helps confirm whether the notification is app-related or account-level.

Why did the “no reply” message happen Security notifications are often automated and not routed through support agents. This is why they can feel unresponsive even when they originate from the system.

To properly investigate the specific alert you saw and confirm exactly what triggered it, support will need to review the notification and your account logs. For secure and efficient assistance, kindly send an email to *** including the full review details, the link or image, and your registered Mweb email address. Please note that we can only respond once all required information is included. Our team aims to respond as quickly as possible, with a general turnaround time of up to 24 hours.

We are here for you for any further assistance.
