Absolutely Pathetic Service

I'm an user of the Century City Connect fiber network, and app**** to switch over to Mweb Fibre in March 2016, because of the perceived attractiveness of their packages. I was initially told that installation could take up to 45 days, which I did not mind as I was still a client of another ISP, and needed to give a month's (end of April) notice to terminate their service in any case. I contacted the salesperson involved towards the end of April, and was told that they were still not yet ready for installation, it would thus be best for me to postpone the termination with my current ISP by another month, which I subsequently did. Installation finally took place on 4 May 2016, after which I could no longer connect to my old ISP. I could also, however, not connect with Mweb, as the salesperson told me that they required an email from Frogfoot (which are responsible for the infrastructure) to confirm that the line is up and running, before they can proceed with the activation of my account. This email was received by email on 6 May 2016. I was then told that I would have to wait for the delivery of my Mweb modem before I could gain access to their network, as they were, for whatever reason, unable or unwilling to configure my existing modem. I was also promised that the delivery would take place on 9/10 May 2016. Today is 12 May 2016, and I am still waiting for this to take place. We've made multiple phone calls to various departments and had been told various stories, including that the modem is out of stock, that it is on overnight freight from Joburg, and that it is with the couriers pending delivery. So basically, I'm paying for 2 separate accounts, yet I have absolutely no access to any network. This is probably the worst service I have received from any company. I strongly discourage anyone from signing up for their service, if this is the way that they treat their clients.

So another two days have passed, we have since received the router, but still without any connectivity. Your idea of 'escalation' seems to be quite different to mine. We have heard more stories over the phone, and have also been told that we'll have to wait til Monday for anything to happen, because you guys don't work weekends.
