Abo****ely pathetic service.

I logged a ticket at opening time on Tuesday morning. Every day I phone in because there is no feedback from your side. I'm just expected to sit and wait. This morning I was 12th in line (yes our connection is still down 5 days later), and was on hold for 2 hours! When I'm finally able to talk to someone, I'm put on hold and the call drops! Do you want to guess who phoned me back? No one. So the call center doesn't give a ****, they just move on to the next person. I called back now, I was calling number 50 in line. If you don't call when the center opens, you can forget about being helped.

The service is absolutely pathetic, or more accurately, non existent. Now it's Saturday, and tomorrow is not a "business" day, so if some one doesn't get out today to fix this, we'll be stuck another day, bringing us to a week of no internet. This is not a once off occurrence, to be clear, this is the norm.

Spoke to someone about my call on Saturday and apparently I should just understand that it's an inbound call center and no feedback is fine. Also I'm asking rhetorical questions that he is not going to answer. Go check that call recording.

Half an hour ago I receive an sms saying I must use the live chat to make contact on the app, there is a status update. I also get a sms saying my request has been closed. Currently I've been more than 30 minutes on the app and I'm caller number 30 in line on the call center.

I'm appalled that this kind of service is considered acceptable. After the countless calls and airtime I've wasted, there is no one that call me for once and update me? No I get an sms saying I must contact you and wait again for hours before being connected.

Good afternoon, Elali

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating and exhausting this must be, especially after several days without service, repeated long waits on calls and chat, dropped calls, and not receiving proactive updates while trying to resolve an ongoing fault.

The matter has been submitted for further review. Once consolidated feedback has been received, our team will reach out via direct message on Hello Peter with an update.

Kind regards,
The Mweb Team

I received this from Vuma:

" We wish to inform you that we've received ticket ***3 from Mweb, that was logged with Vuma on 2026/04/13. "

My original ticket was logged last week Tuesday at 7.30am. Why was this only logged now?

 Hello Elali,

We understand how frustrating this must be, especially as your original fault was logged last week and you are only now seeing a new reference reflected. We also understand how concerning it can be when it feels like there has been a delay in progress or communication between teams.

In this case, Vodacom had closed the previous ticket, which is why the fault had to be relogged. We have now ensured that it has been re-registered correctly and linked for further action.

Urgency has been requested on the new ticket, and our Fault Follow-Up Team is actively monitoring the progress closely to ensure it is prioritised and resolved as quickly as possible. Updates will continue to be provided as progress is made.

Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to send us a direct message on Hello Peter and we will gladly assist.

Kind regards,
