Mweb or Telkom who the hell knows. The one says it's the other with regard to my ADSL connection! At the end if the day this f@$$#n Internet connection just doesn't work! And no one takes responsibility and no one wants to help me. FFS!!!!! I am soooooo frustrated, really. Cannot see me continuing with Mweb and Telkom, whoever the fault is with! Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh! !!!

Good Day Sean,
Thank you for taking the time to make contact with us.
Our customer care team tried calling you this morning, unfortunately no answer.
We checked the line readings and its showing a sync speed of 2559kbps, however the SNR and attenuation readings are good.
Intermittent connectivity is commonly caused by noise on the line, faulty hardware, wall jack or line.
The Telkom portal is showing a disconnect reason of "Lost-Carier", which normally points to a possible line issue.
I would still suggest testing with an alternate router, testing the filters and checking the voice line for noise.
If it is indeed a line issue, you would need to log a fault to Telkom for assistance. Please note, that the disconnections are minimal and we normally log faults for intermittent connectivity if the router disconnects more than 5 times a day.
I checked the Telkom portal and Telkom closed the last fault and concluded that the cause was "Client Equipment"
Please do feedback to me here or confirm if I should set up a Technical Call back for you.
We eagerly await your reply.
Kind regards

"Client equipment". Telkom didn't relay that message to me. They just sent me a sms saying the problem has been resolved. How do I get someone out here to check what the issue is. I don't have time to problem solve something like this.

Thanks for the feedback
I can log a specialist call back, in order for you to inquire about costing for a wheels call out.
Remember that the same consultant who do the troubleshooting via Telephone, do the call outs.
Please do confirm if I should go ahead and log a call back for you.
I eagerly await your reply.

Best regards,
Just spoke to Telkom and they say that they are still testing the line! So, I apparently need to wait another 48 hours ... so I really don't know what to do. I just need to know where the fault lies.

Lets give it the 48 hours they requested, then take it from there.
Let me know the outcome and we can arrange you be called.
I have logged the call back in the interim.
