We have been years(2019) at MWeb, and recently they increased their installment withiut letting us know. Now on around 15 July 2024 they suspended our account. we phoned and they state R800 is outstanding and they cannot switch the account on untill payment was done. We paid R1200 on 26 July 2024, so the account is now fully paid with a bit extra. MWeb then cancelled our account end July 2024, without valid reason. We phoned many times, even had to apply for sim swop. Nothing worked and they blame telkom. I work from home so this is a disaster for us. This was really uncalled for and unreasonable. MWeb left us in the dark and made it difficult to comply with all my work duties. Please avoid MWeb if you work from home.
