Stay AWAY from MUA Insurance & Sandton Auto Repair Centre in Wynberg!!!

Night mare claim from the 20th June 2018 to date. Thanks to whichever Department responsible for maintaining our roads, i ran over an untarred road (Hendrik Potgieter - 14th Avn bridge) which was being repaired and damaged my wheels, engine mountings etc. No signs to tell motorists that repair work was being done on the road. My car has been to Sandton Auto 4 times and still not fixed. I even went as far as taking my car to another BMW approved centre (paying with my own money) to show MUA that the car is still problematic. On the 23rd Oct 2018 i was told to take my car to another repair shop called Eldan Autobody. I can bet you, it's still going to come back with an issue. Mind you, during this entire time, me taking my car in and paying that R1600 for car hire on four occasions. Who's going to pay me that money wasted back? I'm wasting my money on a bunch of *********** people... Worst of all at Sandton Auto I'm being told that they dont try and assess the problem anymore, they just replace the faulty part that the diagnosis recommends. BMW just shut that place repair centre down!!!! you don't have technicians working there but Appies.

After review of the complaint and specific claim, we have responded to you via personal email.

Your repaired vehicle was collected by you on 12 July 2018 and on September 2018, we received a complaint from you via Hellopeter. We were unaware until the complaint that you were not satisfied with the repairs and apologise for any inconvenience.

Fuel deposits have been refunded (July and again in October) and we await an assessment report from your alternative repairer that contradicts the original assessment done by MUA, repairs completed by the BMW approved repairer and the BMW after repairs tests in order for us to address should you remain unsatisfied.

All what you have done is just written on the nightmare I went through and addressed NOTHING about your companies *********** service. Firstly, your Owen K has been the one dismissing my report from the first day I received the car from Sandton Auto telling me that the car needed new brake pads. I'm sure that's the report he got from Sandton Auto. Secondly, I went out of my way to show MUA that the report they are getting from Sandton Auto is absolute nonsense. Thirdly, if you follow up with Europa Sandton, they even charged me for filling up a car which I brought back with a full tank - when i queried this with the site manager: Bonita Velthuyzen, she never came back to me with proof. " The reason in this delay was not shared with MUA" - now this is hogwash. Owen knows all about this. Both MUA & Sandton Auto where given that quote (from B-MA Services) and MUA still has the nerve to tell me that there is nothing like that which needs to be replaced on the car. Now yesterday Eldan Autobody tells me that a new shock has been ordered - why was this not done before???????????? Then you come here and tell me that due process was followed. What due process? If MUA did their work properly when i returned the car, we wouldn't be here would we. during this entire time which i have been returning my car & paying for car hire, its a bill that MUA should settle. Its not my damn fault that your company did not handle this claim correctly. MUA being given incorrect diagnostic information from Sandton Auto is none of my business. My business is to get a fully repaired car from MUA which you simply could not handle even after complaining to you!! I suggest if you are not going to address my issues, dont bother responding. Your report says nothing right now.
