Zero level of Customer Service
Hello!
I understand that your stores are walk-in service centres and don't always have a landline available... But if we are expected to contact customer care, can they at least be helpful?
Had my contract upgraded on Saturday and am having an issue that my network is not working and my mobile data carrier keeps reflecting no data available - which is impossible.
Having contacted MTN customer care - your assistant told me she cannot help me cause I am not the contract owner - which I then explained I need technical assistance to make sure my phone I set up correctly. She then continued that she will not help me. Thereafter, I asked her, am I then expected to be without a phone for the whole day or until I can get to the MTN where I did my upgrade (which is 25kms) from my house. And she said yes - and furthermore continued to refuse to help me or direct me to someone who could actually assist.
And yes - I am still without a working phone :(
If this is what you call customer service - then the 7 day cooling down period will definitely be used to not have to deal with MTN again!
