Wrongful it blacklisting

During the mtn strike my account was wrongfully sent to legal department and as a result I am now its blocked from adding another data line to my existing mtn contract over the last two months I have phoned, emailed and seen mtn consultants to no avail, have been passed on from one department to the next have not received and response from legal at all and my questions can't be answered, they say they don't know sorry.my account was suspended due to a missed payment in April but I did pay all arrears before end of may 2015. I am currently having to pay per paid data costs as a result and for may and June and part of July I had to pay my subs with no access to my line and had to therefore use a prepaid line at my own expense.I am very frustrated at the lack of care or response as I have been a loyal mtn customer for the last five years.<br>

Hello Vikkivix,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it has caused.

The Legal department have advised that the default cannot be removed with the credit bureaus, it remains in client's payment profile for 24 months as it is reflection of the client's payment profile. However, a request has been sent to the bureaus for the profile to be updated as account is now in a current state.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
Ayanda
