Wrongful billing

In the 20th of February 2016 i closed down one contract line i had with MTN and i was left with one, after cancellation i was sent an email confirming that my matter has been escallated and that the contract line will close down and my number( ********** 309) will not be in use anymore with the ref no ********** 0. On the 7th of February 2017 i was told that that contract line i had closed down is still open and is due for an upgrade, which means that i was billed even though to my knowledge i had cancelled the contract and it also means that the sim card was being loaded with data and airyime every month though i was not using it anymore. I contacted their customer care and explained my story and the agent sajd she could not pick my ref number on her system. She then promised to escalate the matter and gave me a request no REQ ********** telling me that my matter will be dealt with withing 48 hours and my contract will be closed but it is still not closed and 48 hours have long passed. I want MTN to attend to my matter, refund me the money they have been billing me on and help me retrieve the data and airtime that they have been sending to a number that was not in use according to the confirmation email i hot on the 20th February 2016. This kind of service is unacceptable,i had reasons for cancelling that contract and only remaining with only one. I want my money back.
