Wrong order shipped

I upgraded to the MTN Made For Me M plan with the iPhone X 256GB and free Beats urBeats In-ear Headphones. When the package arrived with the couriers, I found only the two upgraded phones with no headphones. Samuel, the sales agent who did my upgrade, confirmed numerous times that the deal I was upgrading to, was in fact as advertised on page 4. Upon later enquiry, I heard that he made the mistake and that I, the customer, who has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG, should return my phones to a store, rectify HIS FAULT, reapply for the CORRECT deal, wait a further 3 to 7 days for a second courier delivery, and hopefully only then, after a whole lot of trouble and time on my (innocent) part, and none at all on his, receive the order as placed and confirmed in the first place. I find this solution absolutely out of the question. We are talking about not only one, but two contracts worth a minimum of R1 149 each per month. I have been a client of yours since porting from Vodacom in 2009 and I am coming to regret this decision. I remind you of Samuel, the sales agent who helped me and his admission that the fault of the missing headphones was his. After numerous attempts to contact you through the call centre, I have resorted to an email. I urge you to promptly respond and address the issue.

Hi Ishie, Still no reply on my complaint. Is there an ombudsman available for this type of query? Can I further escalate the matter internally with MTN? Should I go to ICASA with such things? As I am protected under the South African National Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2009, I am allowed to escalate this untill my voice is heard. I have had enough!
