Worst Service in 30 years!!

This is probably my last attempt (before I go viral on social networks) to beg for someone to phone me back as they all promised on at least 4 occasions! I dialed your call centre on 13/05 (expiry date of contract) and cancelled a contract on ********** 686 with Ntombi @ 10h41. She confirmed and I was given ref: ********** 37. On 01/06 I noticed the debit order still being requested for the canc. contract. I ph again and spoke to Lerato Radebe @ 9h18 who after promising to investigate and put me hold she cut me off. I dialed again and spoke to Masecha whom I requested to get her supervisor/manager to ph me back - if not I was going to recall the debit-order. By the next morning in the absence of a call I recalled the d/o. I noted the d/o request again om 30/06. I called in on 12/07 and spoke to Nthabiseng. I requested to cancel the last contract ( ********** 118) I have due to the shoddy service. She advised it is in arears which is ridiculous. She promised to get Nooraan to contact me before cob. Again your hopeless staff failed me. I have unboxed your CEO out of sheer frustration in your *********** staff's non-response.

Certainly the worst service received in my 30 years experience in customer service arena

Whilst I notice attempts to contact me @ 07h35 this morning I also received a mail from Alice Van der Merwe. Thanx for the response after this painstaking long time but again I am not provided with a direct contact number or email address - the mail comes from a generic mail box which is also used by the generic call centre (scary as this is where I have had my nightmarish experiences.... Clearly no-one takes ownership at MTN by "putting their name on queries" let alone escalations! I shall wait patiently for the next attempt to contact me...

I have finally been contacted by someone capable and able from MTN! See my response below:

Dear Alice,

Thank you very much for your call and efficiency in attempting to resolve my query after being let down by all of your colleagues I dealt with previously.

Sadly I had to experience unnecessary inconvenience and pain before being contacted by someone capable of assisting me towards finalizing this long outstanding matter. Just one concern in that whilst you assured me that free minutes/data will not be forfeited until I revert to you when exhausted to convert to prepaid, my wife received a message advising it will expire by end of day (today). Please confirm our telephonic arrangement.

Please also confirm that this whole unnecessary sage has not affected my credit record as per your telephonic assurance.

Your patience and effort is highly appreciated.
