Worst service ever
My phone was ****** on Monday the 26th of January 2015 and I obviously wanted to keep the same number. I got a new phone on Tuesday and took a day's leave from work to sort out my RICA and sim swop. What a laugh, MTN was offline basically the whole entire day. Luckily we ended up doing the Rica at least. I was then told to phoned 173 to do a \simple"sim swop. Well"

17 Feb 2015, 21:22Hello NadineWyatt,
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused with trying to get your SIM swap done.
We must advise you that our Prepaid Department has bee receiving high numbers of ********** SIM swap requests. The security questions asked relate directly to the customer and how they use their phone etc.
In future we will suggest that you visit the SAPS, obtain a stamped affidavit and a certified ID book copy confirm the reason for wanting to do a SIM swap. That can then be sent to *** and it will be sent to our Prepaid Department for processing.
Once again we do apologize for the breakdown in service.
Regards
Tim
