Worst Service Ever

I have been trying to sort my MTN Contract Sim Swop out since March 2016. My cell phone was smash and grabbed at the Comaro Crossing Robots on the 25th March, I was able to block the phone at MTN on the same date, but since then I have had the poorest Customer Service one can think of. I emailed my claim form and received a confirmation that it was received by MTN and it would take 5 working days. This was on the 26th April 2016. To date 6th June 2016 I have not had any succes. Everytime I call back I am told I need to pay a specific amount before the sim swop can take place, once Ive paid I phone again, (which is a feat in its own as it trakes forever to get through), I get told sorry sir but there is still an amount that needs to be paid. I have called MTN, MTN Insurance as well as their undewriters Guardrisk and still I am being treated with disregard. I have been with MTN for many years but I hve now reached the point where I will now cancel my contract with them.

Good Day Gary Verster,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note that do a sim swap your MTN needs to be up to date with payments so that the Legal status can be removed. We have received payment made on the 02 June 2016 which was paying the invoice of 11 April 2016 however the invoice of 11 May 2016 is still behind.

Please make a payment then let us know so we can update your MTN account.

Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.

Kind Regards,
Itumeleng
