Worst customer service, complete disregard and false advertising!!! App**** for a month to month plan at R249 and recieved a contractual plan and a bill of R625.84

I app**** for a month to month mtn fibre promotion, which was R249 per month for 1 year and from the 13th month R549. This was an online only promotion found in the MTN site.

After few days, the fiber was installed. On the 8th of September 2025, an amount of R625,84 was debited by Supersonic. I then called Mtn to enquire about the about same, and I was referred to supersonic as mtn said they don't have my account.

After calling supersonic numerous times. I was informed that there they don't have such promotion, that I'm under a promotion that will only run for 3 months which would be R249 per month thereafter it would be - + R600 from the 4th month, and this plan is not a month to month but a contract plan.

I was further informed that according to their system, I app**** for this promotion at the Mtn store, and agreed to such amounts. This wasn't the case as I completed my application online and everything was approved online as this was an online only promotion

I further sent them the screenshot of the promotion as well as the invoice I received, which clearly confirmed the same, that an amount of R249 would be debited. I was then promised numerous times that the case will be escalated and they would revert back to me, which never happened.

Yet again I followed up, and explained the same issue to a different agents, only to be told that if I want to cancel it would be plus/minus R900. I received no feedback or outcome with regard to my matter which was said to be "escalated".

I never spoke with a manager despite numerous requests made to different agents.

I never app**** nor consented to be contractual plan, but app**** for a month to month plan.

Despite having sent relevant proof of the promotion i had app**** for, my complaint was completely disregarded.

I was only told to either continue or cancel the contract and pay the cancellation fee, of approximately R900!!!
