Worrying factors about MTN's recent default system

I had a strange problems recently on my devices. 1. I loaded (1gig data) on my phone and it disappeared within an hour, when I called the customer service, the Consultant was quick to say I active the Share option and I must disable that.. When I checked such option, I discovered the Consultant was giving me false information as such option was not active

2. On the other device, I recieved a forced extra time without asking for it. I called again the customer service ,again false information was given . More surprisingly is when they asked for my Location.. After an hour or so I find more options on the menu we inserted by MTN. My biggest concern is what is MNT doing, are we safe enough, is these perceptions of 5G and micro managing people real.
