Will my phone EVERbe reactivated?

Last year September my MTN account went into arrears due to financial struggles. This year January when things were on the up I went into MTN store to find out what amount I would need to pay to get my phone back up and running. I was told that they could not help me as the account was with the external legal department of VVM. This was the beginning of what I did not know would be an expensive, ongoing struggle. It then took over 3 months to get hold of someone at VVM who could actually provide me with the exact amount I owed to get my account out of arrears. (Great debt collectors they are) I then paid the R3000 asked of me to get my account out of arrears and they told me they'd call me with a simple reactivation amount which I assumed would be the end of the line for my struggle. They then told me I had 7 days to fork out another R3248 for the reactivation fee or my account would remain blocked for the remainder of my contract. I then reluctantly paid the R3248 asked of me. I now sit in a position where I have paid over R6000 and my account has still NOT BEEN ACTIVATED. MTN tell me that VVM still have the account and thus they can't reactivate my phone, I then call VVM and they inform me everything is clear their side and they have emailed MTN to reactivate my account. This sick game of back and forth has now been going on for more than 3 weeks and NO ONE can give any answers. I am outraged at the way this situation has been handled!!! My phone continues to be a paper holder while I'm over R6000 down.... MTN need to catch a wake up.

I am STILL awaiting feedback on why my phone has not been reactivated?!!!! I was told I'd be contacted by Bongani but still no word yet. It's been almost an entire month since I paid and I have received zero feedback on why my account is not being reactivated. At this point I am ready to lay a charge of theft against MTN.

Kindly get back to me.
