WiFi complaint at MTN n1 city

Hello my name is Mckayla. I’m complaining on behalf of my partner Teddy Makhura

We opened a wifi contract at MTN N1 city October 2022.. then it worked for 7 days and we went to the store so they can change the contract since we wanted something that will last full month untill date of payment. They offered to give us uncapped 400gb so we took it and the lady who was helping us gave us a box that comes with it .. . We got home and it worked.

After 10 days it stopped working then we both went to the store then a guy told us that in the system it show’s working even though we were explaining but he couldn’t help us due to loadshedding and he told us to come the next day for the manager. Then teddy went alone and met with the manager and he insisted that it’s going to working , the box shows good signal but the sim card for data is not working..

The next following day we decided to visit MTN at Water Front and the lady who helped us showed us that it doesn’t cover our address meaning the person who gave us the box was supposed to check the home coverage first and she gave us a proof and I took a picture of it so we can show the store at N1 city .. when teddy went there they spoke about deductions and that they will look at it or he must contact the boss .. then we went again to water Front to ask what can we do coz we are tired these people are making excuses and we fed up we just want to cancel it now . They water Front told us we need to sue them coz they did us dirty.

Teddy met the Boss and he wanted his own proof besides the one Water Front store gave us Then I made videos to show that the wifi is not working both on TV and my phone we sent the proof via WhatsApp..

Now it march they’ve been deducting money since we complained and making excuses that they busy with it since last year November and now we are scared to reverse the money becouse it will ruin teddy’s credit score.. we really need help we are paying something that stopped working November ..399 goes out every month on December they deducted 1227 and he went for that , then they said they going to reverse it now we still waiting
