Why NOT

Please help, I want to transfer my old MTN phone number onto to my new contract, and use the airtime on the new contract, both were contracts with MTN. The original contract has now expired. I logged a complaint with MTN 4 days ago, and have not had a response. I am told this is not possible. Surely not. Regards, Jenny

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

Kindly be advised the active number on the contract is ***. Due to *** converted to prepaid the business rule will not allow for this number to be swapped with the active contract number ***, the only way to use the prepaid number on contract again is to apply for an additional contract on the account.

Kind Regards,

Dear Alice,

Can I have my old number ********** 05, on the active contract ********** 19, as an additional number on contract ********** 19. And how much more is this going to cost.

I dont want to loose this number, have had it for a long time.

Kind regards, Jenny
