WHY MTN WHY
Hello Peter I have tried my all to talk with MTN people about getting back my number doing sim swap but still haven't received my number back. This is the message I sent to their complaints department and no one has responded. "My above-mentioned number was ported to cell c by an employee from cell c without my concerned on the past Saturday and I then started worrying when I saw that I don't have network during Saturday night and I asked my wife to check her phone only to find that it was only me. Morning of Sunday I contacted Mtn Twitter consultants who then told me that my number was ported to cell c that's when I contacted cell c who then advised me to go to the police and make affidavit and sent them so that they reverse. After that Monday they then told me that they have reversed my number. I then contacted Twitter mtn consultants who advised me to get a ricard sim card and then dial *135# follow the prompts. I did that and didnt get any help as it said i must call 135 if i encounter problems. Then I called and then ended up pressing the option of ***** as the other ways were not going through. I talked with a lady who asked me the questions and she asked things that happened way back then. Then i failed and she said i must try again after 2 hours. I tried again but it was around 24H00.
At around 13h00 today I called the 135 and went for the ***** number option again as the others does the same thing of not going through and got a gentleman who talked with me and asked me all the questions and i got them correct. Then he said your swim swap passed and asked my names and surname also my id. He said I must wait for the said hours and not switch off my phone as my swim swap passed now at 15H26 I got the message which says "Dear Customer you have exceeded the maximum attempts to perform a Sim Swap. Visit your nearest MTN store with your ID to complete the process." What more must I do, MTN people? Now, this is kinda personal.
2018 I lost my *** number all because I could not remember my transactions and this number I got it on 1997. Now you want me to loose my *** number which I got when i lost my phones. Please help I answered the last questions well.
