Why is MTN *****ing our data and airtime

For the past three months me and some friends of mine all three on the mtn network have conducted a "where is our data going "observation challenge we all use wifi at home and at work and our data only when we travel from home to work but have realised the data vanishes..literally MTN data and airtime just here today..gone in the morning. MTN what nonsense is this now?
