Why didn't you tell me?

I recently upgraded my contract to a Anytime 500 Topup. The reason for doing so was to be able to also be able to buy more data when I need it. Turns out you are not allowed to buy data bundles with 'inclusive airtime'.

A few facts:

1. I pay for this airtime, you are not giving it to me. (contrary to MTN's attitude)
2. I should be able to do with my airtime what I want (It is MINE)
3. You did not inform me of this when I took out the contract (Try me on the fine-print, I litigate at cost price)
4. If this is the case, I want to cancel my contract and move to a service provider that allows me to do what I want with MY airtime (e.g. Vodacom)

I will appreciate your response on either:

1. How to buy data bundles with MY 'inclusive' airtime

Hello alers,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience experienced.

We are sorry to have disappointed you with our service and would like to assure you that it is certainly not our intention to dissatisfy our clients.

Kindly note that the airtime that is being provisioned monthly cannot be used to purchase any value added services. This is a business rule.

We understand that the entire experience must be very frustrating and hope that we can restore your faith in us.

Regards,
Ebbedene
