Why bother?
I had 3 number cancelled with MTN resend. Only to find out going to the MTN office and getting a reference number that the number have not been cancelled. Really, why do you advise us to come in and cancel the contract if it does not get done. Yesterday I called to find out and it was confirmed by MTN Key west that it was not cancelled, and that I am getting billed for the number for another month. Useless is not the word. Wasting my time and also wasting money again to call to make sure. Is there no more good customer care in South Africa.

According to our records you had Five contract numbers and only Two were out of contract which was the Broadband 2GB data line and the Anytime TopUp 100 (***). The Data line has been cancelled and number deactivated from the Network and the TopUp 100 number has now being migrated to Prepaid. The other contracts can only be cancelled once the contract has expired.
We trust that you will find the above in order.
